Since our company was founded in 1987, it has developed and distributed high-precision optical measurement systems with corresponding software. Our systems are employed at numerous well-known industrial companies and research institutes. Thus, we provide innovative and effective solutions for a wide variety of applications.

After the consolidation of ZEISS and Steinbichler Optotechnik GmbH in October 2015, we are now operating as Carl Zeiss Optotechnik GmbH.

Right from the beginning Steinbichler Optotechnik GmbH has developed and manufactured all product lines at its central location in Neubeuern. Thus, our customers have benefited for many years from the quality “made in Germany”.

In close cooperation with renowned partners from science and industry, we develop practical and user-oriented solutions for various applications and sectors. We set standards in optical 3D measurement technology, focusing on innovation and precision as well as flexibility and openness toward new approaches.

No less than 170 patents prove the innovative strength of our company. From the start, we have been realizing the vision of our company‘s founder Dr. Hans Steinbichler: Making new technologies that arise from theory applicable to the practical use of our customers.
